Andrii Marusov is from Ukraine. He has been the Head of the Board of Directors of Transparency International Ukraine since 2012. He was one of the first Ukrainian journalists to investigate large scale corruption in the public procurement.
Until 2006 he conducted policy monitoring and evaluation with International Finance Corporation, UNICEF, UNDP, Open Society Institute, Institute of Sociology of Ukraine etc. In 2007 he received the Grand Prix of the First National Competition on the Best Anti-Corruption Journalist Investigations. After 2014 Euromaidan revolution he focuses on the analysis and development of anticorruption and public procurement policies. He also provided consulting services to the World Bank Institute and the European Commission. He graduated in public administration, sociology and history.
