What is OGP Transparency Fellowship?
The OGP Transparency Fellowship is a unique opportunity for mid- to senior-level professionals working in government, civil society, or media to expand their networks, knowledge, motivation and advocacy skills to advance their domestic and/or international work on anti-corruption and good governance.
In 2026, the Fellowship will bring together participants from Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, and Georgia for an immersive learning and peer-exchange experience in Lithuania and Latvia, with continued engagement over three months and facilitated access to the OGP network.
Who Can Apply?
We invite applications from professionals who:
- Work in government institutions, civil society organizations, or media*.
- Are based in Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, or Georgia*. Exceptional candidates who work actively from emigration or exile may also be considered.
- Have mid- to senior-level experience in fields related to anti-corruption, open government, citizen engagement, good governance, or public administration reforms.
- Are committed to proactively applying their learning to further transparency and accountability efforts in their institutions, countries and beyond.
- Have strong English-language skills at a minimum of B2 level, preferably C1 or above.
* In Georgia this call applies to civil society and media representatives only.
What to Expect
Fellows will:
- Participate in an intensive 5-day Fellowship (13-17 July 2026), including field visits to government agencies, civil society organizations, and media outlets in Vilnius, Lithuania and Riga, Latvia, followed by a structured three-month engagement.
- Engage in learning exchange with key high-level reformers (and each other) on topics such as anti-corruption, public sector ethics, innovations in public service delivery, public administration reform, data governance, information integrity, whistleblower protection, beneficial ownership transparency, etc.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the Open Government Partnership platform, strategizing about open government, anti-corruption and accountability at the national level, as well as cross-regionally.
- Connect with a global community of experts and peers during the Transparency School’s networking events.
- Upon the completion of the Fellowship, participants would also receive a chance to continue their engagement with OGP and participate in future events.

- Departure: 17/18 July 2026
Costs and Funding
- The Open Government Partnership (OGP) will fully fund up to 8 fellows, covering:
- Programme costs
- International travel and local transportation (excl. visa and insurance costs)
- Accommodation and meals*
*Subject to individual travel arrangements and confirmation of the final agenda.
