Dr. Rūta Mrazauskaitė from Lithuania. Where she is a intersectional lawyer working to improve compliance frameworks across the world with a focus on the financial sector.

Rūta is a lawyer who has spent her career navigating between different sectors and drawing inspiration from different fields to shape her path and experience. She spent almost seven years in Transparency International Lithuania, working on legal, advocacy and public policy issues and then moved on to help several legacy banks to uplift their compliance frameworks as a Ernst & Young consultant. She has been in the fintech sector for the last five years, helping successful fintech companies build and maintain a successful regulatory compliance framework and manage regulatory affairs. As of recently, she was leading the Regulatory Legal & Compliance team for Europe and Middle East region in a global B2B fintech and is currently a freelance consultant working with customers in the financial sector. Ruta is also passionate about academics and has spent years teaching in universities and working on educational projects in different fields.
