Zuzana Hlávková
Zuzana Hlávková is from Slovakia. She is a whistleblower who reported dubious practices in public tenders at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She reported those practices while being in charge of cultural presentation during Slovakia’s 2016 EU Council Presidency.
In 2017, Zuzana joined Transparency International Slovakia, where she has been focusing on integrity-building in civil service, putting in place a whistleblower employment protection scheme in cooperation with Slovak business, and speaking on the importance of individual voices in standing up to injustice in the media, at anti-corruption and pro-democracy rallies and at public events.
She studied languages at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic and cultural studies with Erasmus Mundus Master’s scholarship between Scotland and Latin America. She is currently studying public policy at the University of Oxford.
