Juan Pablo Caicedo

Juan Pablo Caicedo comes from Colombia. He is a project manager, educator, researcher, and consultant in public governance, urban planning, and sustainable mobility.

Juan Pablo’s work focuses on finding innovative solutions and approaches to urban policy, sustainable mobility, and transportation-oriented development. Currently he serves as the coordinator of Socioscape, a research project aimed at documenting innovative experiences in food systems around the world on a large scale using new data analysis technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and audiovisual information processing) at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Paris. He previously served as Project Manager for the Green Corridor Project for the City of Bogotá, and as adjunct lecturer of Governance in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá. He holds a Master in Public Administration and a Master in Urban Planning from Harvard University. His track record includes consulting for public authorities in Mexico City, Chicago, New York, Boston and Bogota.  He also served as Chief of Staff for the Governance Minister during the Santos Administration.
