Mia Mayixuan Li is Chinese. She is an Associate Advisor in the International Programmes team at The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT).

Mia has several years of prior experience in behavioural insights and international development. Her work at BIT has included guiding civil society organisations in Nigeria to combat corruption using behavioural science, designing interventions to empower Tunisian women to exercise their legal rights, and conducting mixed-method research to diagnose behavioural barriers to accessing sexual reproductive health services for adolescents in Ethiopia and Ghana. Mia holds a Master in Public Policy with a certificate in Decision Sciences from Harvard University.
