Paulius Martinkus

Paulius Martinkus is from Lithuania. Paulius leads the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance which is promoting the best corporate governance practices in private and public sectors in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Before joining the institute Paulius headed Governance Coordination Centre for state owned enterprises in Lithuania. Paulius was a public consultant to the minister of economy and he was representing Lithuania in OECD working party on state ownership and privatization practices. Previously Paulius worked in private equity fund in Estonia and held CFO position in a group of companies in Lithuania. Throughout his career Paulius acted as a secretary to the council in a number of companies in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland; later he served on several numerous boards as a non-executive board member and chairman. Paulius is also public consultant to the mayor of Vilnius and works as independent board member in state enterprise Šiauli? regiono keliai.
