Roberto Martinez B. Kukutschka

Roberto Martinez B. Kukutschka is from Mexico/Germany. He is Research and Knowledge Coordinator at TI and a PhD candidate at the Hertie School of Governance.

Before joining Transparency International, Roberto worked as a Research Associate for the European Research Centre for Anti-Corruption and State-Building and conducted a research for the large-scale EU-funded Projects ANTICORRP and DIGIWHIST. His main research interests include both – corruption measurement and crony capitalism.

Prior to this, Roberto served as a Head of the Anti-Corruption Department at the Mexican Tax Administration Service, where he was responsible for overseeing the enforcement and implementation of the OECD’s anti-bribery convention and the UNCAC. He has his MA in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
