Mr. Jovitas Raškevičius, First Deputy Director of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

He has a long-term work experience (more than 25 years as a public official) and has introduced a number of important reforms and innovations for further enhancing state capacities in fight against corruption.

Gradually ascending the career ladder from ordinary investigator to its top official, Mr. Jovitas Raškevičius has accumulated the comprehensive experience needed for a strong leader.

His main duties are organization and coordination of criminal intelligence and pre-trial investigations of the corruption related cases of all departments of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

Mr. Jovitas Raškevičius represents the institution in working groups (locally and internationally). He is a member of Lithuanian interinstitutional commission in the fight against shadow economy. He is a member of Lithuanian Delegation to the OECD Working Group on Bribery.
